Marking a payout as paid also marks its bundled commissions as paid. Rejecting releases the commissions back to the affiliate so they can request again.
Manual payment process: payouts are paid outside the system - by bank transfer or PayPal - after the affiliate sends an invoice and you confirm it. Approve the request, collect the invoice, make the payment, then use Mark paid to record it. No automated payment gateway is connected (see docs/payouts.md).
